Ahmad's Journey & Joseph's Story
- Both Joseph and Ahmad* have had individual tutoring with Embrace since 2007. Joseph also attended VCE revision lectures with TSSM, paid for by Embrace. They both kindly agreed to write a piece about their experiences as a refugee student. Their stories offer a great level of insight in the experiences of a number of our students.

Stakeholder Reflections
We are a poor school trying to do the best for our students, while disappointingly funded, and incredibly short of resources. This incredible program is making a significant difference to the educational and life chances of our senior students, and has become an invaluable resource for us. They continually amaze us with offers of in class tutoring support, computers for students and even grant money to assist us in buying books and equipment for newly arrived refugee students. The opportunities being offered by Embrace are beyond our wildest dreams.
