We work directly with high-school students. Therefore all volunteers with Embrace are required to complete both a Police check and Working With Children (WWC) check. You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
 

National Police check:

All volunteers are required to complete a Police check. Police checks are issued for different purposes. If you already have a Police check, please see the below Police Check Application Guide to see whether it is able to be used for Embrace purposes.

The check is $14.50 however Embrace will reimburse you for this cost.

Working With Children (WWC) check:

All volunteers are required to complete a WWC check . The check is free for volunteers. Remember the sooner you apply, the sooner it will come back!

   If you have not previously completed a WWC check, you will need to download the WWC application guide and follow the relevant instructions to apply for your check.
    

2. WWC Change of Personal Details Form:

   If you already have your WWC check, you will need to download and print off a WWC Change of Personal Details form. You will also find instructions for completing this form in the above WWC Application Guide.
