Items of need for 2008

Being a voluntary non-profit organisation, Embrace Education is always seeking assistance and is open to any help, both in terms of skills you can offer, items you can offer, or just simply money donations to help to keep our projects running.

For 2008 , we are seeking the following items:

1. Desktop computers and laptops. Already struggling with their new environments and family issues, newly migrant students completing VCE face a real battle. If you have old computer, laptops or computer parts, we desperately need them! Even if they are not working 100%, send them our way and our computer technician volunteers will have them running in no time.
2. Text-books and study-guides. In all subjects, from Maths, English, Sciences and Languages. Text-books can be new or second-hand, we would love them!
3. Stationery such as pens, exercise books, basic calculators, bags etc. As simple as these items sound, the unfortunate reality is that many of our students do not have these essentials. If you have any old exercise books with unused pages or ancient calculators, don't throw them away in the garbage! Pass them on to us and we'll make great use of them!

If you have any items to donate, here's what to do:

• Send an e-mail to donations[at]embrace-education.org. Be sure to include in the e-mail your name, what items you have to donate, where you live, and a contact number. All details will be kept entirely confidential.
• Within 2-3 days, you will receive a return e-mail or phone call from Embrace detailing pick-up location and time. We will either come to you, or organise a convenient pick-up point. Too easy!
  

Monetary donations

If you don't have any of the above, we warmly welcome your monetary donations. 100% of your funding is used to purchase materials for students in need.
